The Electoral Commission's office in Asuboi, located in the Ayensuano Constituency of the Eastern Region, has been set ablaze by some disgruntled youth, causing public outrage and condemnation.
A video shared by TV3 on their Facebook page on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, showed the office engulfed in flames while the youth shouted in anger.
This recent incident contributes to the growing tensions in certain communities following the 2024 election.
In various areas, dissatisfaction with the election results, the vote collation process, and the subsequent result declaration has resulted in unrest.
