The campaign of Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, appears to be on an unstoppable momentum since he hit the ground running.

From the north to the south, east to the west, Dr. Bawumia has drawn huge crowds, who have been welcoming him with frenzy in support of his Presidential bid.

The latest was last night, where Dr. Bawumia drew a milling crowd at his community connect held at Tema New Town Station of the Tema East Constituency.

Remarkably, the mammoth crowd, largely made up of the youth, stayed several hours as they waited for the Vice President, who was held up in another campaign engagement in other parts of the constituency.

When Dr. Bawumia eventually arrived with darkness already set in, it was ecstasy in abundance as they saw the new leader of the NPP, with new campaign songs welcoming him.

Addressing them, Dr. Bawumia got them cheering throughout his address, which focused on the failures of the NDC when they were in government, the superior record of the NPP since 2017, and his vision and policies, which he said, his government will implement in 2025 as President "by the grace of God."

Earlier in the day, Dr. Bawumia took his characteristic energetic campaign to the three Tema Constituencies: Central, West and East, where he received warm receptions where he visited.

In his popular meet and greet street and market campaigns, Dr. set alight the light industrial area in Community 9, the BBC Station in Community 2 and Community 1 market, where scores of traders cheered him on.
