Black Stars deputy skipper, Thomas Partey, had an exceptional outing in Arsenal's draw against Liverpool at the Emirate Stadium on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

The Ghanaian ended the game as one of Arsenal's best players in the 2-2 draw while playing in an unusual position.

Partey played as a right-back after manager Mikel Arteta made changes in their backline following the absence of William Saliba and Ricardo Calafiori

Partey ended the game with the most duels won – 13, most tackles won – 4, and most Arsenal touches – 79.

The 31-year-old has received plaudits after his sensational performance, keeping Liverpool's in-form attacker Luiz Diaz at bay.

Following the draw, Arsenal has dropped to third position with 18 points, trailing league-leading Manchester City by 5 points.
