Over 240 sacks of Marijuana, hundreds of wrapped cannabis, and cocaine have been burnt to ashes following orders from Courts.

The exercise carried out on Thursday, August 8, 2024, was supervised by the Registrar of the Circuit Court, Mr. Prosper Kingsley Damankah.

These substances were seized by the Courts between 2020 and 2024 with persons found guilty sentenced while those not found culpable were freed.

EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah who was at the scene reports that personnel from the Police and Environmental Protection Agency were all present including the media.
