The Executive Officer of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), COP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, was almost moved to tears after staff of her organization unveiled a bust erected in her honour on the premises of the institution.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb, COP Maame Tiwaa, who was reportedly unaware of the bust being erected in her honour, expressed shock and surprise as the monument was finally unveiled.
“Obaatanpa Tiwaa Gardens to the Glory of God dedicated to COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah (Mrs) by the entire staff of EOCO in appreciation of her invaluable contribution to the welfare of the members of staff on Friday, 18th October 2024,” a description on the bust read.
COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, a former Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Policeb Service, was appointed head of EOCO by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on January 5, 2022.
She took over from Steve Raymond Dapaa-Addo, who was appointed Director-General of EOCO on July 9, 2021.
