Some customers of the defunct DKM Diamond Microfinance has expressed disappointment in the Brong Ahafo Parliamentary Caucaus for their failure of payback their locked up funds to them.

It could be remembered that the President then Flagbearer promised the people of the Brong Ahafo region that he when voted to power will ensure that their locked up funds are paid back to them.

However, the President has been in office for seven months but nothing has been heard about their monies; this has left them skeptical.

Some customers of the defunct microfinance company who spoke to mynewsgh.com in Nkoranza said “the President came to convince us that he could retrieve our monies for us so we voted massively for him and his Members of Parliament. It is history that only the NPP has twenty seats in the Brong Ahafo region but we did it because we thought they will collect our monies for us”.

They further indicated that some Members of Parliament who convinced them to vote including Hon. Derrick Oduro, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu and Hon. Baffour Awuah but now “they come home at night and go back to Accra in the morning”.

“They started to pay us our monies but when Nana Addo came they have stopped. They have stopped paying the money and as for me, I have not received any amount. My child was supposed to go to Senior High School but I invested my money and I could not get it back so he has to stay back at home,” another aggrieved customer said.

They threatened to vote massively against the New Patriotic Party if they do not fulfill their promise to them.
