The Ministry of Education is cautioning the public against fake advertisements making rounds on social media about an ongoing exercise being undertaken to recruit persons into the education sector.
A press release signed by the Head of Public Relations, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, described the adverts as ‘fake’.
The statement further urged the public to disregard any such information circulating and to be careful about fraudsters who may want to take advantage of unsuspecting persons for monetary purposes.
“The Ministry of Education unequivocally states that these advertisements are fake and the ministry is currently not recruiting as indicated in the advertisement and be wary of fraudsters who may seek to take advantage of unsuspecting persons for monetary purposes”.
“The general public is to note that, future recruitment exercises would be communicated through approved channels”, portions of the statement read.
