The founder of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has urged Ghanaians to stop killing the country’s achievers, expressing with regret, “We’re the only country that kills its achievers”.
In a speech delivered on Sunday, 8 March 2020 at the Perez Dome, Dzorwulu, to edify his congregation in commemoration of Ghana’s 63rd independence anniversary which fell on Friday, 6 March 2020, Bishop Agyinasare urged: “As a people, let us stop pulling down one another”.
“In Ghana, we keep pulling down one another”, he deplored, insisting: “Let us stop wishing one another evil”.
“Let us be able to celebrate the successes of our achievers”, the preacher encouraged, bewailing: “We’re the only country that kills its achievers”.
“Let us stop killing one another and the dreams of one another”, he chided.
Quoting Genesis 11: 6 of the Bible, which says: “The Lord said: ‘The people are one and they have one language and this is only the beginning of what they would do. Now, nothing that they propose to do would be impossible for them’”, Bishop Agyinasare expressed optimism that: “As a people, if we would focus with one purpose, to make our nation better, nothing can stop us. And this year, may that be our hearts’ cry and may that be what we’ll do”.
