The opposition NDC is confident about a win in the upcoming 2020 general elections and has thus said it is closely monitoring the activities of the Electoral Commission to ensure no foul play arises.
The party says it is currently undergoing research on its chances of winning and if statistics continue in the current trendit may bag a win with more than 53%.
Speaking on the Starr Chat with Bola Ray Wednesday former National Organiser for the party Kofi Adams urged the EC to be transparent.
When asked if he had confidence in the EC he said “it doesn’t matter who sits at the EC headquarters. We are watching every step the EC is taking, even when they are sleeping. Whether they are snoring or not we know. Nobody should attempt playing any games.”
He stressed: “you should have confidence in a process that generates leadership. But they must let us have confidence in them. They should do a lot more to engender confidence that political parties should have in them.”
