Controversial musician and self-styled anti-corruption campaigner, Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, is asking Executive Chairman of the State Enterprise Commission (SEC), Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, popularly called Asabee, why he has dragged him to court after they both verbally abused each other.
Asabee on Thursday, June 13, 2019, slashed a defamatory suit against the maverick musician at the Accra High Court on grounds of publishing libelous words about him.
He is thereby seeking a court order to restrain A Plus from repeating similar or other defamatory words against him.
In a post on his Facebook page to react to the court summons, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporter described the former Information Minister as a ‘stupid man’ urging him to stop fooling since according to A Plus, he also insulted him on a number of occasions but had the guts to run to court.
Below is A Plus' full write-up:
Asabee stupid man!!! You insulted me and I'm also insulting you back then you run to court to ask the court to restrain me from talking about you.
Very stupid man!!! In less than a month you have served me twice and I have availed myself to gladly received both writs?
For the past 3 weeks, we have been looking for you to serve you for damages you caused to someone's property but you have run away to a village behind Kromanste. You fucking coward!!! Call the lawyer and tell him where to serve you.
You cannot insult me and turn around like a cry baby to determine how far I can also insult you. Gyama wa b? dam!!! There is no big man in Ghana anymore. The only big men and women "The People, and those who respect and serve "The People."
Example of a big man is the deputy minister for education or Sir John!!! Ahaaa!!! Asabee you are a very small man like a bottom on a mosquito's teenage daughter's mini skirt. Stop fooling!!! #Tomantocase
