Some 501 sacked recruits from the Ghana Armed Forces are dismissing claims of wrong doing during their training.
The Military in December last year sent them home for claims of gross misconduct.
The 501 recruits were training at the Army Recruit Training School at Shai Hills in the Greater Accra region when they were sacked.
According to the recruits, they were only acting on the orders of their superiors which was later interpreted as misconduct.
They are appealing to Government to rescind its decision and bring them back into the force.
Ishmeal Amoateng, spokesperson for the 501 recruits said joining the Armed forces has been their passion and would be an injustice to them if they are not re-admitted.
“We were just obeying what our senior men were saying, so we have done nothing wrong. We are appealing to the government, we have learnt many things, we know how to shoot and everything and we are just home.
“It is very painful and so bad…this is the work that we have passion for,” Amoateng said.
