Member of Parliament for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi, has expressed concern over the choice of ministers used by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.

He says it is true that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has men and women who can bring about the needed change in the country.

However, to him, competent individuals are not being deployed to the field to do the work.

“The other time John Mahama said the NPP claimed we have the men but it is area boys. We know we have the men and women, but the competent ones are not being deployed. It is not even about the NPP. It cuts across governments in the NDC and NPP.

For example, there is someone who has worked at the Roads and Highways and risen through the ranks with several years of experience, but such a person is not given the opportunity. Well, we don’t like the truth. You’re in the house and you know what I’m saying is the truth,” he said.
