Board Chairman of the National Youth Employment Agency (YEA) and currently the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has disclosed that the Akufo Addo led administration has not abandoned Ghanaian youth as being speculated by the National Democratic Congress(NDC).
He however said factors like the high rate of youth unemployment and lack of education have turned that resource into a burden with many analysts warning of major threats to the country’s security.
“You made me a better leader and a better servant, and I won’t stop; I’ll be right there with you as your leader. I won’t abandon you.” And I’m still asking you to believe in our work and the NPP’s ability to bring change,” Sammy Awuku exclusively told Kwame Tutu on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7
Sammy Awuku further stated, the Nana Akufo-Addo government will ensure that policies aimed at training and providing employment opportunities for young people will be made available, adding that the NPP will maintain the nursing and training allowance and give priority to agriculture in quest to create more job opportunities.

The iconic youth figure, credited with one of Ghana’s most inspiring mobilisation effort of the youth to massively vote for Nana Akuffo Addo promised to put in lots of effort to make 2020 election easier for the NPP.
