President Jerry John Rawlings yesterday said the government will compensate all those whose properties were destroyed during last Thursday's demonstration.
The President, making his first comments on the violence which erupted during the demonstration, expressed his condolences to the bereaved families as well as those who suffered injuries.
The President noted that a good number of those who took part in the demonstration might have done so as a genuine expression of concern over the economic difficulties facing the average Ghanaian.
