Former Deputy Communications Minister in the erstwhile John Mahama administration, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, strongly believes the National Democratic Congress [NDC] will at all cost win the 2020 elections.

According to him, leaders of the NDC have put in place proper measures to curb whatever mistakes that occured during the 2016 elections.

He therefore said nothing can prevent the opposition party from winning the 2020 elections as the current government has lost focus on what to do.

“We have realized our mistakes in our 2016 election defeat and are vigorously working at it to come back to power to resourcefully make use of Ghana’s assets,” he said.

Speaking on Adom FM’s ‘Mpensenpensenmu’ programme, the NDC Communicator slammed President Akufo-Addo and his governing team for refusing to accept responsibilities due them, but keep on apportioning blames.

“President Akufo-Addo and his government must stop lamenting to us and rather solve the problems they promised to fix when given the mandate,” he indicated.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) established a 13-member committee to investigate the cause of the party’s defeat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 elections and recommend remedies.

The committee was chaired by former Minister of Finance and Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission, Professor Kwesi Botchway.
