Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe had admitted that his outfit were tactically inferior against WAFA in the match day 17 fixture of the GPL.
The Academy boys were in sensational form as they handed Accra Hearts of Oak a humiliating 5:0 defeat in Sogakope to go top of the Premier League table on Sunday.
WAFA lost 2:1 to the Phobians in the first round, but their result on Sunday was more than a revenge against Hearts of Oak. They dented the Phobians pride, handing them their heaviest defeat in Premier League history.
Danger man, Richmond Lomotey scored a brace, but the main architect of the emphatic victory was new sensation Abdul Majeed Ashimeru, who got one of the goals and was adjudged man of the match. The other scorers for WAFA were Abdul Wahab Ibrahim and Caleb Amankwah.
However, Dr. Tamakloe says he wasn't surprised for their humiliation because ggey had not game plan and they were tactically inferior against the Sogakope boys.
"I was shocked with the scoreline." He told Asempa FM. "WAFA had a game plan against us on Sunday and that caused our defeat. You could see clearly when they had the ball.
"We didn't had a game plan against them, we were tactically inferior and I must admit that WAFA were better than us and moving forward I think we will put things in the right direction.
After losing to WAFA at the Sogakope on Sunday, the supporters if the clubs disclosed that the players have not been paid for the past five month and believs that was the caused of their defeat but the astute football administrator has rubbish such statement asking the supporters to approach him and tell him such thing.
"I want to tell the supporters to come and tell me that we have not paid the players for the past five month.
"It is not right for supporters to be saying such things because we have a board that coordinates with the supporters so going round and saying these things will not help the club.
"I want to emphasize that Hearts of Oak will continue to be in a good shape because we are the best club in the country and nothing will prevent us from moving forward." He added.
