The National Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has warned that any government appointee who overlooks or disrespects any NDC party executive will be dealt with.
According to him, such an appointee will be disciplined to serve as a deterrent to others who allow the trappings of power to get to their heads and treat party executives at various levels with contempt.
In a video shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Yamin, while addressing some NDC party executives, urged them to report any government appointee who disregards them so that appropriate action can be taken.
"Let us have calm in the party. It is only when we are being cheated that we must rise up. We are the chief protesters; we will lead the campaign. We have to discipline some people in the party. Government appointees who overlook party executives, we will deal with them. That one we can assure you.
"Any government appointee who disrespects or overlooks the interests of the people who made him who he is, we will deal with that person. If you go there and a government appointee disrespects you, doesn't give you a hearing, please come to us and tell us. We will make sure that person pays for that," the outspoken politician said.
