Wesley Synod Canterbury consecrates Bishop Kudolo into office

Bishop Dr. Prince Augustine Kudolo of the Go Ye Harvest Time Ministries at Dansoman in Accra, has been consecrated and elevated to the office of Bishopric by the Wesley Synod Canterbury UK, England.

He observed the vow of the ministry by declaring: “I do solemnly promise to confirm to the Doctrine, Discipline and worship of the church and I do pledge myself to render due obedience to the canons of this church so help me God through Jesus Christ.”

The occasion also saw the ordination of five Apostles and 50 Reverend Ministers. Most Rev. Dr. Sir Paul Hanson, Presiding Archbishop Wesley Synod Africa, who led the consecration, in a sermon asked the Bishop to be in all things a faithful and wholesome example for the entire flock of Christ.

“Your joy will be to follow Him who came, not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many,” he said.

Rt. Rev. Friday Ibanga, Presiding Bishop, Wesley Synod Nigeria; Rt. Rev Elijah John Inyang, Presiding Bishop, Wesley Synod, Ibeno and Rt. Rev Life Peters, Presiding Bishop, Wesley Synod, Ghana were co-consecrators.

Rev Dr. Fidel Owusu Agyei, an Apostle of Go Ye Harvest Time Ministries in an interview with newsmen, asked Ghanaians, particularly politicians to stop the usage of abusive language against themselves.

“We should say good things about ourselves especially the truth should always be supreme because we are not enemies but one people and we shouldn’t allow ethnicity and language to divide us. God in His own wisdom knows why He created us differently.” he said.

Rev. Dr. Owusu Agyei said politicians should rather sell their good programmes and policies to the people for them to make informed choices for the betterment of the nation.

He said: “It is the Almighty God who enthrones kings” therefore Ghanaians should use their thumbs to vote for their faithful ones in the upcoming election in December and leave the choice of the rightful winner in the hands of God.

He said the Wesley Synod Canterbury, which was established about 205 years ago in United Kingdom, England, takes pastors through three months training and were ordained before licensed to do the ministration.
