The NDC Parliamentary Candidate in the Ketu North constituency, Eric Edem Agbana, has assured his constituents that former President John Dramani Mahama considers the Weta-Ehi, and Aflao-Dzodze-Ho roads as very important projects that will open the region up for development.

Speaking at a mini-rally at Ehi on Thursday, August 15, 2024, the young and promising politician emphatically stated that he has had a series of meetings with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, from where he has been assured that the NDC government will take urgent steps to have the above-stated roads constructed.

Former President Mahama is currently on a campaign tour of the Volta Region, which is expected to end on Friday, August 16.

At Ehi, the NDC flagbearer kept the crowd attentive and cheerful with his occasional use of the local Ewe language in making several of his points.

He later proceeded to Dzodze to meet organized groups.

Earlier, Eric Edem Agbana told the crowd that John Dramani Mahama can address the country's economic difficulties.

He described the NDC's flagbearer, John Mahama, as the fixer and stated, "John Mahama is the solution to the challenges we face as young people."

According to Edem, John Mahama possesses the required experience and vision to move the nation out of the economic crisis.

He made these remarks at a youth town hall meeting at the Ho Technical University on August 15, 2024.

Edem Agbana is confident that the country can overcome its current challenges under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.

He describes the NDC's flagbearer as the "fixer" because he believes Mahama has unique problem-solving skills and is capable of making decisive decisions under pressure.

He stated, “Come December 7, the Ghanaian youth will go out and vote for the fixer. They will vote for the leader who will introduce the National Apprenticeship Programme, so that the young people in the Volta Region and across the country who may want to acquire skills and earn a living for themselves can find hope. The fixer is here. Young people will go and vote for the leader who will cancel the 10% betting."
