Koku Anyidoho, former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has questioned the legacy of the party's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, specifically regarding developments in the Volta Region during his presidency.
Anyidoho, known for his criticism of Mahama and the NDC leadership, took to Twitter on June 24, 2024, to demand transparency on Mahama's achievements in his native Volta Region.
"What did John Mahama really do for the Volta Region? He should tell us we beg him,” he asked.
Meanwhile, the NDC is eyeing a comeback. The party, which lost power to the NPP in the 2016 election and lost again in 2020, is banking on the leadership of former President John Mahama to spearhead its resurgence in the 2024 elections.
