Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Director of IT and Elections for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has raised questions about the governing New Patriotic Party's (NPP) strategy for achieving Universal Health Coverage.

He mentioned that the NDC has promised the people of Ghana Free Primary Health Care as a policy to help Ghana achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3.

Dr. Omane Boamah indicated that both political parties have signed international agreements to ensure health for all, so the governing party should honor those commitments.
