When should we take Kennedy Agyapong’s comments serious - Suhuyini asks

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North in the Northern region, Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini is questioning when comments of maverick politician Kennedy Agyepong should be taken serious.

“Please my fair minded commentators, when should we take Hon Kenedy Agyapong comments serious? Is it when he says nothing should and will happen to Delta force members and nothing happens? Is it when he says they will dismiss people suspected to be NDC sympathizers in state institutions and that is happening? Is it when he says nobody can do ‘foko’ about the BOST ‘chop chop’ and nobody does? Is it when he threatens to disclose how his party won the 2016 general elections or only when he says nasty stuff about the NDC and Mr Ibrahim Mahama”, he asked.

His comments on his official facebook page were in response to threats by the Assin Central Lawmaker to blow the cover of his party on how it won the 2016 elections.

Mr Kennedy Agyapong last week threatened to release full detail of how the New Patriotic Party (NPP) won the December 7, 2016 elections if he is continuously undermined by some unnamed individuals in the party.

“I am not a minister and I don’t fear being sacked. I will speak the truth till death.  If anyone invites me I will not honour such an invitation from anyone in NPP because I fear no one. No one can also threaten me if they dare, I will come on radio and reveal how we won the election. If they can go and sit at Alisa Hotel and threaten to collapse my business….they should get ready for me….I am ready to face anybody in NPP”, he warned.

He revealed that the persons planning his downfall have consistently asked him to shut up before he can get contracts in the current administration warning that he will never kowtow to their whims and caprices.

Members of his party have risen to his defense accusing the media of taking the comments out of context.
