Media personality, Yaa Nicky has shared details about why she dumped her partner after she bought her tickets to facilitate her travel abroad.

According to her, her partner wasn’t ready to take the risks to travel abroad for better opportunities, as she wanted.

She stated that it is important for her to have her partner with her due to the nature of living in the USA, as he would be able to help her maintain the home.

Before moving outside the country, she was a radio presenter at Angel FM in Kumasi.

“Before I came here [abroad] I was in a relationship with my man. I dumped him immediately I bought my ticket. He wasn’t ready to take the risks and travel abroad with me,” she said.

Yaa Nicky advised against traveling back to Ghana just to find someone to settle down with or marry. Emphasising her preference, she said she would rather settle down with someone who already lives abroad than marry someone back in Ghana.

“I would prefer to settle with someone who already lives in abroad or Europe as is is easy to visit them. I will not date nor marry someone in Ghana. Anybody that wishes to settle down with me should instead move overseas,” she said.
