The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Abasinnab Apaak, has waded into the Joy Fm drone video saga of former President John Mahama’s residence, asking why the security agencies have been silent.   The worried MP wanted to know whether the privacy, safety and security of a President, present or past, was not a matter of national security any longer.

He said "Or we no longer protect and respect former Presidents? Or is it because he is called John Dramani Mahama of NDC? My heart bleeds!"   Myjoyonline.com over the weekend posted the said video of the residence of former President Mahama when he lived there. The video which has since gone viral has been condemned by many concerned people.   But according to the MP he was at a loss as to why the security agencies have been mute over the issue.

He queried why Multimedia would post such a video, asking what would motivate a media house to engage in such a security breach?

He also raised questions as to who ownes the drone and who gave them permission.

"Is it legal? How do we know they have not been doing this all along? Who is next?" he asked.

The MP noted a timely intervention by the security agencies could settle the matter once and for all.
