Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reiterated his strong belief in the power of God in the endeavours of man.

Dr. Bawumia, who is continuing his campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region, was in the Weija Constituency on Sunday, paid surprise visits to a number of congregations, including the Holiness Pentecostal Church, New Gbawe, Church of Pentecost, Mandela Assembly, New Weija, Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Jerusalem Assembly, and the Church of Pentecost, Kasoa Area, Ayigbe Town.

Speaking to the congregations, Dr. Bawumia underlined his firm belief in the will of God in his endeavour, stating that "it is God who installs leaders," adding that "with God, all things are possible.

Citing references in the Bible to buttress his point, Dr. Bawumia stressed that, "Unless the Lord builds the house, we will labour in vain."

"This is why I put God first in everything I do, because, as Jesus Christ said, with God, all things are possible," he added.

"I also request the prayers of all of you, for special favours from the Lord so that victory will be ours, myself and Jerry, the Parliamentary candidate."

Dr. Bawumia also urged all stakeholders to ensure the preservation of the peace of Ghana, saying that even though the 2024 election is about the future of Ghana, the most important is to ensure the peace of the country.
