Ajumako (C/R), Jan. 16, GNA – A 30-year-old mother of three children Sarah Aidoo and Esther Amissah, 29, a hairdresser, have been granted bail with a sum of GH ¢ 1,000 with two sureties each to reappear in court on January 27.
They pleaded not guilty on charges of causing harm and aiding and abetment of crime.
Inspector Bismark Appiah told the Ajumako Magistrate Court presided over by Madam Patience Abloh that on October 30, 2011 at about 1330 hours, Esther Amissah led Sarah Aidoo from Ajumako to Assasan.
He said Sarah Aidoo acting upon the suspicion that her husband was having an affair with Miss Agnes Mensah, together with Esther Amissah instructed a 12-year-old boy to lead them to the house of Miss Mensah.
Inspector Appiah said at the house, Sarah Aidoo attacked Miss Mensah with a sharp blade and slashed her face several times making her bleed profusely and was later rushed to the Ajumako District Hospital and was admitted for three days.
He said a report was made to the Police and upon arrest and investigation the two accused were charged with the offence.
