Women To Strip Naked For Liberia

MONROVIA, Liberia, July 23 -- In Ghana, where West African leaders are conducting peace talks, women protesters threatened to strip naked unless the Liberian government, rebels and political parties agree to a peace deal.

The BBC reported hundreds of people have died and thousands have been injured since the rebels launched their latest attack Saturday.

Aid agencies have warned of a humanitarian disaster in Monrovia as they try to help some 250,000 people who have nowhere to live after fleeing to the capital.

President Charles Taylor again accused the international community of "turning a blind eye" to the crisis, as Swiss authorities froze bank accounts with $1.5 million in the names of two of Taylor's associates
