Work on Ahinsan-Lake road in Ashanti Region to begin

The Chinese construction company working on the Ahinsan-Lake road in the Ashanti Region are on site to begin the construction of the road.

Chinese Company, China Heman International (CHICO) have pitched their site behind the Coca Cola bottling Limited, Ahinsan. They are currently building the site which is about 90% complete.

They are at the moment dealing with the various utility Providers, Ghana Water Company, Electricity Company of Ghana as well as the Telecom Providers on the relocation of their underlay pipe cables.

They are also helping squatters along the road to vacate the place. This is expected to last for four weeks.

The actual road work is expected to start in January 2019 and it will take 24 months to complete the Project.

Ashanti Regional Minister Honourable Mr Simon Osei Mensah together With Ashanti Regional Urban Roads Engineer Eng Gambrah paid a visit to the site today.

Site Manager for CHICO, Mr Cheng assured them that all things are in place for a non-stop project.

The minister also visited the asphalt and bitumin processing plant being set up by Semens Construction and Joshobs Construction Limited as well as Core Construction.

These companies are those working on the inner ring road network in the region. According to this Companies , they are returning to site next week to continue with their job.

They are collectively will be asphalting the road starting from Tech junction to Anloga Junction through Shame round about to Prempeh College. Then from Patase to end at the Asowka Interchange.
