Kotoku (G/A), Dec. 29, GNA- More than 35 participants mostly farmers and the youth of six communities have ended a three-day sensitisation workshop on HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention of the disease.
The participants were from Papaaso, Agotekope, Akotoshie, Kotoku, Akotoshie Number One and Akotoshie Number Two, all in the Ga District. Mr Nash Kwadjo Abbey, focal person for HIV/AIDS in-charge of Amasaman District asked the participants to impart the knowledge they have acquired to make people in their communities more aware of the dangers of the HIV/AIDS.
Mr Abbey called on the youth to always be with their books instead of attending video and other social gatherings, which sometimes let them fall in love with their peer partners.
