Ya-Na?s Brutal Murder - ghost cries For Justice

All attempts to suppress the truth abut the brutal murder of the Ya-Na Yakubu Andani II, the late Overlord of the Dagbon Traditional Area and forty of his loyal subjects continue to dodge the forces of evil who perpetrated that gruesome act. But truth is said to be like a cork, which is immersed in a bucket of water. It always finds its way to the top.

Following the surprising somersault performance of Alhaji Abu, information which has since filtered into our office indicates that Abu was going to reveal certain startling revelations.

It is alleged that the Alhaji that Abu promised to reveal was not the Alhaji that many people had suspected. It is alleged that the Alhaji involved was an Alhaji who grew up with Vice-President Aliu Mahama and Alhaji Malik Alhassan Yakubu, the former Minister for the Interior.

The information indicate that this said Alhaji lives in East Legon and was once even a member of the Board of Directors of a state corporation. It is alleged that the motive for the attack was to pave the way for the holding of funeral rites of Mahamadu Abdulai IV, a former Ya-Na who died in 1988 who had even been destooled by a decision of the Supreme Court.

It is further alleged that this Alhaji together with some Abudus tried on Tuesday the 26th March to hunt the Ya-Na out of the Palace. What was frightening was the alleged complicity of the Mohammed Habib Tijani, the District Chief Executive of Yendi, who was alleged to have prevented the security agencies from intervening in the fight when it broke out. It is even further alleged that the DCE is also a Mallam and a confidant of the President, who undertakes some rituals for the party. Probably, this may explain why the Wuaku Commission recommended the Chief Executive?s reassignment.
