You are not lost!

Life though…perhaps the most cumbersome puzzle ever designed by the Almighty God in the history of creation, encompassing a great deal of mysteries and moments of ecstasy but most often of all, questions whose answers may never be discovered. The whole phenomenon is beautifully crafted to keep the players (human beings) in an unending cycle of suspense and intrigue, which couple up with other ingredients like disappointments, periodic failures, betrayal and hate to cook up this sumptuous delicacy we call life. Personally, I always thank God for this life that he has given unto us and the awe in which I stare whenever I reflect on my own life experiences always leaves me in either of two emotions; delight or nostalgia. There are so many times that we think of what is going on around us and we cannot seem to find the solution and therefore, we just prepare our minds and bodies for any eventualities, since we are not sure of the future. Now, lets zoom into the substance of this publication as we walk through why you are not lost, even though everything seems to be at a dead-end in your life. One thing that is common to all human beings irrespective of their social class, education, wealth or socio-economic status is Problems. Everyone has one or two problems of their own and these inevitable problems often have the propensity to make us wonder why we are even alive in the first place. There are times when you go through so much turbulence in your life, that when you see other people having fun in their lives, you are tempted to believe that God has his own favorite people to whom he always brings joy and delight, while there are those of ‘you’ as well who he does not like and so he strategically sets you up in situations where life would probably keep hitting hard punches at you and with every single hit, the intensity seems intensified so that you would feel more pain than the previous one brought to you. But this situation outlined above is a fallacy borne out of human sentimentality and you have to reject this notion with every single nerve inside of your body.
You see, I have been in this position countless number of times and through it all, I have learnt that I am never lost at all. People have to begin to understand that there are things in life which are meant to break in order that new ones can germinate out of them. Your seed would not germinate until it first begins to rot in the soil. Therefore we need to master the art of unending patience and hope for the future. In religion, we call it faith. In science they call it energy. In the streets we call it vibes. Whatever it is that you name it, you have to trust it. Things would first have to fall apart in order for them to fall into place. A lot of people are comfortably resting today in places which are far above their potential, all because they are yet to appreciate the fact that victory only would come to those who endure till the end. There are so many people who are bitter at themselves for things they did or that happened to them decades ago, constantly regretting, crying out, burning inside and hurting from within and for them, they are lost in their own clouds and it seems to them like, finding something positive out of them is like trying to carve out white from charcoal. No! that is not the case at all. Every single experience that you encounter in life is meant to shape you for your grand takeover of your destiny. Try sitting down quietly sometime and reflecting on all what you have been through in life. You are most likely to realize that every single event is in a way connected with another and that is what has propelled you to your current status in life. When you look at the driving mirror of most cars, there is an inscription that reads ‘objects in the rear view mirror appear closer than they are’. Indeed, there are too many people who are busy looking into the rear view mirror today and for that reason, the problems seem ‘closer’ than they actually are. Somebody once told me that 90 percent of problems that bedevil our minds are imaginary, and to a large extent, I agree with him on that. The human brain is naturally more predisposed towards negativity than it is to positivity; which is the reason we often remember negative experiences than we remember positive ones. We remember the one thing someone did to offend us, more than the hundred other times that they did us good. Its indeed amazing, how the contemporary world are so shallow in their patterns of thought, leading us to a point where everybody is expected to fall in line when we actually possess a unique individual ability to stand out. This trend has eaten into the core fabric of society and at times it places an elusive burden of guilt directly on our shoulders to carry. It’s the same in school, at work, in church, everywhere. Basically, school is designed to teach us how to read and write, and then they teach us how to read and write and then how to read and write again and again, only making it more complex and difficult to comprehend as we go higher. We are not taught to think about things that directly affect us in everyday life and so once you begin to do that, they make you feel like you are lost. Everybody is doing one thing and because you decided to try something different which falls in line with your personal life principles, you are branded strange or weird or daft or whichever word it is they call you by. And you are so hurt by this situation, often times provoking you to also do what they do in order to prove a point to them right? Yeah, yeah. I know this feeling so well. I used to live with it until I decided to let my mind travel a bit and see. Only then did I realize that I was not lost at all. I actually was in my own lane fulfilling my own destiny, and I was never lost. People will laugh at you because you are different, but you also need to learn to laugh at them because they are all the same. I know that the situation in which you find yourself is virtually grinding your whole world to a halt. But you have to begin to appreciate that you may be on your destined path after all. Believe you me, whatever the problem is, self-pity has never been recorded anywhere in the world to have solved anybody’s problems. You have to believe and keep faith alive. Keep your head above the water. Kings and princesses are trained to always keep their head up. You know why? Because the moment you bow down your head, your crown will fall off. But how do you keep your head up in the midst of all the storm?
Well first of all you have to learn to live in the moment. Living in the moment does not suggest in any way that you do not plan for the future, but rather it shows your soul that you are appreciative of who you are, what you have, and what you are at the moment. Because actually, there are people who would do anything to have the kind of life you have. People are too quick to exaggerate the problem and look at it from several angles which probably do not even exist in reality. We are so good at magnifying our difficult times so much so that we forget to live. there are so many people who are biologically alive, but are dead life-wise. People would spend their entire lives looking at closed doors that they lose the ability to notice fresh open doors. If you want to win this quest of life, then you must live in the moment and not zoom your lenses to portray your sorrows larger than they actually are. Why are you so worried about losing your job when you still have the opportunity to start impressing your boss? Think about it,
Secondly, you should be mindful about your attitude towards the problem. One basic skill which I think everybody should have is the art of maintain your cool even in the face of harsh adversities. We must endeavor to channel our thoughts into finding solutions to issues that confront us, rather than focusing on the damaging effects that it could have on us. Let us strive for inner peace. We need to develop positive attitudes towards problems and be confident even when there is damning evidence to prove that everything is shutting down one after the other. This is some magic which would work for you any day and at any time.
The most important reason I believe you are not lost is that God is always looking out for you. I don’t know what you call him in your religion, but whatever religious sect you belong to, I am sure you believe in the Supreme Being too. You have to trust God with every drop of blood and every single cell that is in your body. Pray. I mean trust God with your life. After all, he gave it to you. #imaginedteam
