Head Pastor of Dzodze Assemblies of God, Pastor Solomon Painstil, has commended the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, for his discipline and incorruptible character, emphasising his exemplary leadership and vision for the country.

Pastor Solomon Paintsil praised Dr. Bawumia during his recent visit to Dzodze in the Volta Region.

He said the entire pastoral body was impressed with his lifestyle and political career and praised his decent and incorruptible character traits.

"We, the Clergy and the entire ecclesiastical body of Ketu North and its environs have made keen observations and followed you closely in your work as Vice President of this country.

"For the sake of time, we want to bring to your attention three of them. The ecclesiastical body, the Clergy, and all of us here have observed that your personal lifestyle, which is characterised by discipline, is noticeable everywhere. It is something we want to commend you for.”

He added, "You are one politician that cannot be tagged with the issue of corruption. When you go through the media or social media, you will never find anything that brings you into the arena of corruption. I applaud you, sir."

He also lauded Dr. Bawumia's visionary leadership, pointing to his digitisation drive.

"You're one politician who is full of vision. With you, it is possible. Because of you, Ghana can pride itself on certain facilities that other countries don't dream of. Today, medications can be supplied through the use of drones. It doesn't matter the distance; we are able to do it.

"It only comes from a man who can dream, a man who can see possibilities. The things that others don't see, this man can see. We call you Mr. Digitalisation, bringing the impossible to be possible," he stated.

Pastor Paintstil also described Dr. Bawumia as a man of excellence, applauding his approach to governance.

"You are a man of excellence. Anything you attempt to do, you do it with the excellence that it needs. If it will be done, it must be done well."

He expressed hope that the NPP will win the pending election.

"Your Excellency, these are a few of the things we want to bring to your attention and to say that we are here for you and with you.

"The presence of the Clergy here should tell you that the atmosphere is already cleared. We are expecting that should the dream come true and you become the next President of Ghana, we believe that greater things will happen," he stated.
