You lack common sense - Abronye DC slams John Dumelo

Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC

The Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, best called Abronye DC has slammed Ghanaian actor John Dumelo, describing the later as someone who is ignorant and lacks common sense.

His outbursts come after the pro-NDC actor pleaded with the team of security experts from Canada to help rescue three Ghanaian girls who went missing in 2019 at Takoradi.

“Can the Canadians who came to rescue the kidnapped Canadian citizens please stay on for like a week more and help us find our missing Takoradi girls? I will pay for accommodation I beg”, Mr. Dumelo posted on Twitter.

But the outspoken chairman reacting to the comment said: “Infact, I find the tweet by the NDC pro actor as unfortunate and a public display of ignorance”.

In a statement, Abronye DC said: “It is on record and of no hidden fact that, the Canadian experts did not have any hand or whatsoever in the successful rescue mission initiated by the Ghana National Security in collaboration with the BNI.”

Abronye DC says the popular actor after joining the NDC is refusing to apply common sense and his brains automatically freezing, hence the display of such high level of ignorance in the public space.

“I deem it forlornly and pitiful for the NDC pro actor to display such level of gross ignorance. I am beginning to be convinced of the fact that, the moment a person joins NDC, he fails to apply common sense and his brains automatically freezes”, he said.

RE: HELP RESCUE TAKORADI GIRLS - JOHN DUMELO

I have noticed with dismay, consternation and trepidation a tweet by John Dumelo which has been captured by an online news portal "Ghanawebcom" with the above caption.

According to the said news item, Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has asked a team of security experts from Canada who helped to rescue two kidnapped Canadian aid workers in the Ashanti Region to stay and help rescue the three kidnapped Ghanaian girls at Takoradi in the Western Region.

For some reasons, I would like to quote the tweet of the NDC pro actor verbatim. He noted that, “Can the Canadians who came to rescue the kidnapped Canadian citizens please stay on for like a week more and help us find our missing Takoradi girls? I will pay for accommodation I beg,”

Infact, I find the tweet by the NDC pro actor as unfortunate and a public display of ignorance.

I deem it forlornly and pitiful for the NDC pro actor to display such level of gross ignorance. I am beginning to be convinced of the fact that, the moment a person joins NDC, he fails to apply common sense and his brains automatically freezes.

It is on record and of no hidden fact that, the Canadian experts did not have any hand or whatsoever in the successful rescue mission initiated by the Ghana National Security in collaboration with the BNI.

In a press statement signed by the Hon. Information Minister, dated 12/06/19 the minister clearly in no uncertain terms stated emphatically in plain words that, the Canadian ladies were rescued by the sole effort and initiative of the National Security in collaboration with other Ghanaian State security agencies.

I would like to state without mincing words that, as at the time the National Security rescued the Canadian girls, the so called Canadian security experts were busily snoring in their beds and had no idea that, the National Security was on such mission.

Further more, the Canadian security experts have no idea about how their nationals were rescued and thus deserves no applause and commendation for their rescue.

On this note, I would like to entreat John Dumelo to use his ill gotten NDC money to fund and accommodate the canadian security experts to investigate how they (NDC) stole cars and misappropriated state funds which were meant to reshape the country.

Finally, commenting on the much anticipated rescue of the 3 Takoradi girls, I would like all and sundry to note that, the ladies were abducted or kidnapped on three separate occasions and so far, the security agencies have taken practicable steps to ensure the safe rescue of the ladies.

On this note, I will like to encourage all Ghanaians to rally behind our security agencies and provide them with the necessary support and information because they will deliver and can deliver.

I will also like to cease this medium to commend and laud the National Security and all sister security agencies in their swift action in rescuing the Canadian nationals.

Thank you
