Kofi Sam Atta Mills, the son of late former President John Evans Atta Mills, has descended heavily on the former Director of Communications at the Presidency during the Atta Mills administration, Koku Anyidoho, for his now anti-NDC stance on political matters.
Koku Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, in the past few years appears to be in bed with the governing New Patriotic Party and has been a critic of the NDC and its flag bearer, John Mahama.
However, Kofi Sam Atta Mills, in an interview on Onua TV, said Koku Anyidoho lacks principle and has had his credibility tarnished with the way he's aligned himself with the ruling government, which he strongly fought while in power.
"At the time Koku Anyidoho was the Communications Director (Presidency), he was the same person that when Prof. Mills was being abused by the opposition party when he went to China to get the loan for the Atuabo Gas project, the same people who went round saying he had sold the country and were wearing black to parliament, showing him the red card in parliament that you as the Communications Director were fighting them; today they are your friends."
He continued: "It shows that you don't have any principles. We can't even identify who you are anymore, and I think it tarnishes your credibility as a person. If they were fighting Prof. Mills for borrowing 1 billion dollars or 3 billion dollars or whatever the amount was, look at the amount of money this government has borrowed, but you are siding with them and claiming that they are better than the Atta-Mills-Mahama administration. So where do you stand? When you do that now, your credibility is in tatters because nobody knows who you are anymore. Zero principles, nothing. And that is why I decided to stay out of this, because I don't see why I should participate in such things."
