Former President John Dramani Mahama has made a firm declaration to party members and executives, stating that anyone wishing to serve in his administration must commit to absolute transparency and accountability.

Addressing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Campaign Tour in the Greater Accra Region, Mahama emphasised that he would not tolerate corruption under his leadership if he is given the mandate to govern the country following the December 7th elections.

Mahama underscored his commitment to ensuring that no member of his government would engage in corrupt activities.

He emphasised that those who hope to work with him must first be ready to uphold the highest standards of integrity.

"Before you accept to work with me come 2025, you must, first of all, agree to be accountable and transparent with the good people of Ghana," Mahama asserted.

The former president reiterated his stance that anyone found engaging in corrupt practices would not be shielded from the law, emphasizing that his administration would prioritize transparency and accountability.

"I have promised Ghanaians that I'm going to be transparent and accountable if they give me the mandate," he stated, "so I will not shield or allow someone who is not ready to be accountable to the people to serve under my government."
