Former employees of now defunct UT and Capital Banks have accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo of delaying in responding to a petition they sent to him on the 31st of May 2018.
According to them, they have not received any response from the president months after the petition was sent.
Speaking on Accra based UTV and monitored by Mynewsgh.com, the aggrieved former workers who have formed an association said they requested in the petition to have audience with the president and are still looking forward to that meeting.
They pointed out that they have credible information that the president has received their petition and expect the number one gentleman of the land to respond to it.
They want the president to intervene by ensuring that they receive their exit pay.
They described life out of employment as unbearable since most of them have families to cater for.
