Outspoken musician and NPP member Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has lashed out at revered and veteran journalists Kwame Sefa Kayi, Kweku Baako and Kwesi Pratt.

A Plus criticized the host of Peace FM’s morning show, “Kokroko” for choosing party interest over that of the country’s alleging that the latter chided him for calling out the NPP government after he purportedly exposed some corrupt dealings at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Kwame Sefa Kayi, he indicated was more keen to do damage control when one of the individuals at the heart of the scandal was empaneled on his show.

“…the time that we were talking about Korle Bu issues you met me at Roman Ridge and told me that I’m very wrong; because I’m calling the whole government out, because your government is in power. So when people are dying at Korle Bu, you don’t care…”

“Every good citizen defends their country all the time and their party when they deserve it. So you have to defend your country all the time. But you were interested in doing damage control. They called you that Abu Jinapor is coming to your studio for an interview so listen and see how you can get the work done.” He added

Turning the heat on Editor of the New Crusading Guide, Kweku Baako and Kwesi Pratt, A Plus accused the duo of being fake as they tend to toe the lines of the Convention People’s Party but do the bidding of NPP and NDC respectively. “…all of you, from Kwesi Pratt, Kweku Baako, Sefa Kayi... all these kind of journalists, especially the sakawa ones.. Have you noticed that every ‘azaar’ claims he’s CPP? They want to pose as though they are neutral but it’s all lies.

Someone says he’s CPP but has never campaigned for the party, always campaigns for NDC. Another says he’s CPP but always following NPP. You people are fake, you don’t care about this country but when you sit on radio you speak as if once you’re done it ends the matter…”

Kwame A Plus, noted for being a strong critic of the Akufo-Addo administration was reacting to the recent happenings at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which led to the ban of two major music artists Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
