Private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has made mockery of Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome after the embattled Ghanaian businessman, lost a case against the State at the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights in Arusha,Tanzania.

“Criminal talking about human rights? ….hahahahaha! Go and pay the ¢20 million debt to the State”, Lawyer Ampaw who has been on the heels of embattled businesses man through out trials mocked in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome who risks losing assets worth about GH¢20 million to defray part of the GH¢47.2 million he owes the state, says he is ready to negotiate with the government for a payment schedule.

Mr. Woyome earlier refunded GH¢4 million in November 2016 and promised to pay the outstanding amount in quarterly installments of GH¢5 million, commencing April 1, 2017, but failed to fulfill the pledge.

But Lawyer Ampaw Ampaw has admonished the government to ignore any payment plan by the embattled businessman, Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome, who risks losing assets worth about GH¢20 million to defray part of the GH¢47.2 million he owes the state.

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw who is also Public Interest Advocate says any attempt by the State to negotiate with Mr. Alfred Woyome will amount to the abuse of the court process.

“We can’t trust woyome. The state should reject any payment plan propose by him. …The state must go ahead with the execution process. …And retrieve the tax payers money. Woyome end has come”, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw pointed out.
