The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favor of Ghanaian forward Augustine Okrah, mandating Young Africans SC (Yanga SC) to pay $24,400 in unpaid wages owed to the player.

This ruling arises from a payment dispute during Okrah's tenure at the Tanzanian club.

In addition to the payment order, Yanga has been fined $3,000 by FIFA, which must be settled within 30 days.

Should Yanga fail to comply within 45 days, they face further sanctions, including a ban on registering new players for up to three transfer windows.

The club could also face disciplinary actions from FIFA if they continue to disregard the payment order.

Okrah has since moved on from Yanga and is currently playing for Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.

This case underscores the importance of honoring contractual obligations between clubs and players, as well as FIFA's role in ensuring fair treatment and compensation for athletes globally.
