A Nasara Coordinator for the Tamale Central Constituency, Abdul-Rahman Sarkin Samari has accused the former president John Mahama and the NDC of collapsing the Ghana Youth Authority and its subsidiaries before exiting power in 2016.

Speaking on Radio Justice’s morning political talk show Wednesday, the NPP firebrand communicator stated recruitment of Ghanaian youth under the youth employment moduly halted from 2014 through to 2016.

According to him, the agency couldn’t carryout any recruitment following the GYEEDA exposeé by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni.

“The agency under their watch collapsed and many youth lost their jobs due to corruption at that time,” Sarkin Samari stressed.

He argued “It cannot be true that the NDC made reforms at GYEEDA before exiting office. There were no reforms because the youth of this country were still jobless before they existed power.”

He sighted businessman and contractor Philip Akpeena Asibit and others thrown in jail for the rot at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) then Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Authority (GYEEDA).
