Zoomlion Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility wing for the Zoomlion and Jospong Group of Companies. Since its inception in 1996/2006, the Zoomlion and Jospong Group of Companies have given donations to many individuals and institutions to support a wide range of initiatives.

To formalize its corporate social responsibility role, Zoomlion Foundation was legally registered in July 2014, as an independent entity with its own Board of Directors.

The vision of the Foundation is to ensure “an environmentally conscious society for a sustainable future” with the mission “to inculcate a culture of sound environmental sanitation practices through training and capacity building, advocacy, partnerships and direct support.”

Rationale for the Establishment of the Foundation

Zoomlion Foundation has been established to further demonstrate our commitments and social responsibilities to society.

The works of the Foundation will sharpen the focus of our corporate social responsibility activities, which is embedded in our core values of environmental integrity, people centeredness, collaborations and partnerships, innovation, gender responsive and socially inclusive and intergenerational equity.

What We Do

The Foundation’s first area is to provide support for the activities of Zoomkids Clubs which are environmental clubs operating in basic schools across the country. Ation focuses on three thematic areas: environmental management, educational support and health care support.

Under environmental sanitation management, the Foundation supports basic infrastructure development related to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) activities projects using simple innovative technologies. These projects are done especially in communities where Zoomlionkids Club activities are vibrant.

We also provide grants towards payment of fees for brilliant but needy students in Senior High Schools and Tertiary Institutions. Additionally, school teachers who double as Zoomkids Club Patrons may obtain scholarship to pursue a postgraduate degree course at Africa Institute of Sanitation and Waste Management (AISWAM-KNUST).

We further support individuals with very serious sickness and disease. In addition, the Foundation identifies, partners and supports under resourced public hospitals or community clinics, prisons, disability related organisations orphanages, collaborators and development partners in areas of WASH, health and education to collaborate with Zoomlion Foundation to achieve this noble agenda.
