Relief and Aid International offers scholarships to 30 needy students

Relief and Aid International, a non-profit organization, has awarded scholarships to 30 students to pursue their education at the tertiary level.

The launch of the scholarship program was held at a short ceremony on Saturday, April 27, to assist brilliant but needy students in pursuing their education across the country.

The 30 students were the first set of beneficiaries of the Relief and Aid International new scholarship scheme although some students have already benefited from their aid in the past.

Speaking at the launch in Accra, the founder of the NGO, Peggy Anna Naa Ayikailey Adamafio, urged students to prioritize their education and equip themselves with skills essential for their career growth.

"Education is a transformative force that has the power to change lives and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. I am currently funding these expenses alone, but I intend to adopt a more sustainable approach to avoid disrupting the studies of these and other potential students."

Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Professor Ransford Gyampo, commended Relief and Aid International's initiative to help students across the country emphasizing that the government alone cannot do it all.

The event was attended by important guests, including leaders from the Ga State.

Relief and Aid International is an NGO that helps people with financial needs and works to make communities healthier and happier.

The NGO has helped older people and their families become more independent and has provided support to sick individuals.

Communities across the country have also benefited from their clean water initiatives.
