There was no secondary school in the North Dr Nkrumah and his CPP Government started the Tamale secondary school in the North and made it free for them to attend. They had free boarding, free textbooks and free uniforms. So the North has enjoyed free boarding in SHS since 1951.Please there was no consultative meeting. Dr Nkrumah and his cabinet of 11 including himself introduced it for them. Please this free boarding in SHS in the North and the Accelerated Developmen Plan for Education which introduced fee-free primary school education in the Gold Coast for the first time also by Dr Nkrumah in 1951 was not backed by any law.Please when President Mahama was in power up to 2017, he religiously implemented Dr Nkrumah 's free boarding in SHS in the North by transferring feeding grants to SHS in the North. Yes, say it as it is. Otumfuo has said it all. Free SHS should be limited to day schools. Boarding facility is a privilege period. Government should revive the day schools left in the push at the cummunities and continue with new ones. Pay teachers well to be able to go to the remote areas and teach. Equip laboratories, technical work shops etc etc

No . To make Mahama and NDC unpopular. Why didn't you said it during Nana Akuffo Addo and the NPP era. Sorry Mahama will continue it because he will use the resources bequeathed to Ghanaians very well
