As for investors possibly seeking alternative investment options is a basic economic logic. But as to the T-bills rates and inflation rate at 23% being artificial, I don't get it. Inflation rate at 23% under NPP in latter part of 2024 was not artificial but artificial under NDC in early 2025 - amazing. But of course, coming from IEA (or their fellow kukrudite - CDD) shouldn't surprise many.

My only caution to Ato Forson and Team is to ensure that EFFECTIVE measures are already on the ground, working to keep forex rates STABLE before bringing down the T-bills rates.

Poor economics! As Togbe has been saying, and I agree, interest rates should be compared with expected inflation, not headline inflation, which measures past price changes. It’s nice to see t-bill rates fall.
