Unfortunately the stupid NPP which some of us voted for have refused to go to parliament to ensure that the debt is used for the development of our country.
The stupid NPP has therefore given NDC a blank cheque to do whatever they want with our money, because of one power hungry Akyem Pigmy.

For 48 years, since Ghana assumed self-government in 1951 under Kwame Nkrumah and CPP veranda boys, the same group of left-wing ideologues in NRC, AFRC, PNP, P/NDC have mismanaged our economy. These same group of left-wing power-mad ideologues who have taken turns to rule u,s are the loudest empty barrels in town but they are not patriotic, dim, dunces and just so corrupt. They do not have any sense of patriotism in their bones. Their sense of nationalism is waving of Ghana flags, building statues and naming effigies after their heroes over and over again until doomsday. They do not know how to create wealth and cannot establish any fruitful and productive contact with the developed western world. What they can do best is to spend and spend and spend what we have; sell all our state properties under their divestiture and then borrow and borrow and borrow until thy kingdom come, using our resources as sovereign guarantee.
Even now their solution is to raise taxes and will go for the same people who have borne the burden of shoring up their deficits forever. As certain as the day follows night Taxes on imports, business, rich people, investors, market women, businessmen etc. will rise and so businesses will dwindle...
These talkative left-wing politicians converged conveniently in NDC are more interested in political semantics and can justify their foolhardiness by their loquacious reasoning of no meaning. The arrogant and very proud left-wing socialist revolutionaries of Ghana politics only covet power to enrich themselves and sell us weasel words on their Radio FM and Television Stations...all the time blabbing and calling people names upon names. I mean real people who want to help their country can never get chance to do so as these thieves crowd the political sphere to debase our economy.
The question patriots are asking is simple: What did you do with all these monies? Why are we running such high deficits when we cannot even collect our refuse? Then as usual they compare themselves to the developed world. America owes but look at their infrastructure as well as all these migrants, notably Ghanaians they have had to educate and feed and treat in their hospitals as they abandon their wretched countries defaced by these same talkative NDC Sakabo people!. How many wars have they gone? USA are still bearing up and looking for solutions just as Britain and Germany, as quoted by these know-all apparatchiks writing under pseudonyms and still focusing on people who have done nothing wrong but only seeking to help their own country.
John Mahama never stopped telling Ghanaians that in the election year NDC government won’t spend much only to do so to bribe the electorate in a most corruptive manner never seen in the annals of Ghana politics.
Already, these NDC people have sold whatever assets Ghana has to earn monies including gold and diamond mines and now selling our lands to their collaborating exploitative Chinese to rake through our poor lands and resources. It’s just too sad to see our country destroyed by people who do not appear to care, or even not from these shores.
But NDC are in power, and must be forced to account for these high budget deficits. They keep saying they have extended electricity to 2500 communities. No problem: But where would they get the source of their power for these extended electrification? The same old saturated Akosombo Dam? We ask these bloody stupid vainglorious NDC politicians: What would have happened if President Kufuor and his PATRIOTIC NPP Government had not discovered Oil and got the means to build BUI Dam? It is just so disturbing!
NPP Politicians are not doing politics because of NDC. Ghana is their country. They won’t take instructions from these hopeless talkative NDC people who even have no means to help the country except abuse its resources. They must stand up to the NDC in Parliament and ask serious questions and expose them for what they really are. And there is more to come from us all. We won’t let a beautiful country like ours be destroyed by such evil people in NDC!!!

While we call on Mahama government to bring the economy back on it's right truck,we will not allow NPP to steal the lime light for the sake of political expediency.
In 2001,NPP inhereted a stable economy which was growing at the rate of 5% per annum. The cedi was strong against the dollar and the general out look of the economy was very positive. On top of this is the goodwill of the international community which was largely absent during Rawlings regime.
Talking about international community goodwill,Ghana's debts was wiped off the slate in 2006 and within just two years from 2007/8,NPP have grown the debt to 9.5 billion Ghc with nothing to show for, they also left 15 trillion old cedis debt at the Tema oil refinery(TOR) running it down completely with Ghana Commercial Bank(GCB) tiltering on the brink of collapse as a result of TOR been indebted to GCB, and NPP further left a budget deficit of 14.5% of GDP.This is in spite of 10 billion US dollars HIPC funds,750 million dollars Euro-bond,good prices for Ghana's export products among other things. In the end, what NPP had to show for was uncompleted affordable houses,re-naming of existing national stadia,re-painting of existing school buildings like that of Buem secondary school in the Jasikan district of volta region in order to present as a HIPC project, schools under trees and general poverty.
The nockdown effect of the afforementioned economic mess was that,NDC and by extention Ghanaians were forced to endure painful austerity measures for two years from 2009/10 by the IMF and World bank as a condition of assessing world bank loan of 0ne billion budgetry support.
But for the superior managerial accumen of the NDC,the economic mess left behind by NPP would have taken some countries more than 10 years to fix.We learnt of Japan's lost decade when that contry was hit with financial crisis.Greece is now in its fifth year and still counting with no end in site despite multiple ball outs etc.
NDC can do better and must do better. In 2011 we saw NDC single handedly growing the economy to 14.6% of the rebased GDP with a longest single digit inflation so NPP should shut up and watch their masters manage the economy well once again.

Story: How to Kill a Wolf - (Eskimo Style)..HIPC STUNTING OUR GROWTH
Up in the arctic circle there is tribe of Eskimo's who have learned to set
a very simple yet effective trap for wolves. First they sharpen a knife
razor sharp. Then they dip it in the blood of a seal they have killed.
(you see seals are fairly easy to trap but wolves are very dangerous).
After dipping the knife in blood they set it outside in the cold so the
blood freezes on the knife. After if freezes (a matter of minutes) they
dip it again into the seal blood and again take it out an let the blood
freeze. Layer after layer they make a blood popsicle. When they are done,
the knife's blade is hidden inside just like a popsicle stick. Now they
take the knife out into the wilderness where they think a wolf might be.
There the bury the handle of the knife in the snow leaving the blood
popsicle standing up and they leave.
Now after a while a wolf will come along guided by his sense of smell and
find the "bloodsicle". He will being licking it, enjoying every taste.
Over and over he licks the knife and soon his tongue is so cold he cannot
feel it any longer. It's numb. But his taste for blood is growing and he
is not getting as much as he wants - you see, popsicles are slow eating.
Finally his licking exposes the razor sharp edge of the knife. It cuts
into his tongue again and again but he does not even notice for his tongue
can no longer feel anything. The wolfs own blood now flows from his cut
tongue. The wolf is thrilled, blood is now more plentiful and he continues
to lick more and more.
Soon he notices something is wrong, he is getting weaker not stronger.
Since he knows blood as food he increases his efforts to feed on the ever
increasing flow of blood. His last thoughts are of how good the now warm
blood tastes. Within minutes he licks his last and collapse next to the
now fully exposed knife. Here the Eskimo knows he will find the wolfs
body the next morning.

Ghana's huge debt break your hearts? When Kuffuor left office he left behind for the late president Mills empty state coffers. He had to run to the IMF and the World Bank for loans to keep the nation running. Before he left office Kuffuor signed into law policies which the nation's revenue capacity cannot in anyway support.Policies like the single span salary for public servants, school feeding programme, social security for the elderly etc are some of the policies which because of the low capacity revenue collection of the state the government has to resort to borrowing to finance them. The minority should tell the people of Ghana how much the nation was in debt at the time when Kuffuor was leaving office.I hope the minority will not dishonestly tell ghanaians that the debt has come about because of corruption for Kuffuor's government was not corruption free.Ghanaians will be far happier to know how much debt Ghana owed at the time Kuffuor left office.

The solution is just around our noses but the political will to apply it is rather absent.

The NDC is increasing the national debt with nothing to show.
Our roads network is in shambles and so is the rails network.
We have shortage of power, even our drinking water is not good, but our debt as a nation is sky rocketing, therefore, we ought to ask the government the reasons for this huge debt.
Remember that debt must be paid with interest.
Some people think a debt on the nation is a joke.
I have heard a phrase indicating in Akan that "we came to chop" well a debt is not a joke.
I weep for our people, but it is never too late to change the cause of direction.

Talk of gross hypocrisy and cheap political point scoring! For 8 years the NPP was in power and at that time their hearts were not broken by the national debts! They had a windfall when they 'signed up' to HIPC and had our national debts cancelled. Now they talk as if they somehow were better custodians of our national wealth and the NDC lot who by the way are no better, are the ones 'sinking the national ship' and 'draining our coffers'. Why is politics so cheap?
Are Ghanaians aware that South Africa, the 'economic giant' of Africa has increased their fuel prices twice already this year alone? Although unpleasant and in my view a short-sighted approach to 'balancing the books', governments all over use the fuel surcharge to help address balance of payments deficits.
Somehow in Ghana for the NPP opposition, that means Ghana is back in HIPC and some of their daft surrogates even have the nerve to suggest that our national independence celebrations should be "boycotted". Telling people to boycott a national event is different from appealing to the state to organise a smaller event to mark the day. T them, everything "must be boycotted". Ghanaians are not fools you know?

THE STRANGE THING IS THESE USELESS TRIBAL BIGOTS, LAZY, FREELOADING, CORRUPT GHANA "LEADERS" THINK THE NATIONAL DEBT PILE-UP IS SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT.
GOD HAS ENDOWED GHANA WITH EVERY DAMN THING NECESSARY TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY LESS DEPENDENT ON "TROJAN HORSE" FOREIGN HANDOUTS, BUT WHAT WE SEE IS A CLUELESS SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP ALWAYS GOING CAP-IN-HAND BEGGING EVERY TOM, DICK AND HARRY FOR LOANS OF EVERY DESCRIPTION, OSTENSIBLY FOR PROVIDING EVEN K-VIP TOILETS.
ALL THAT GHANAIAN "LEADERS" KNOW IS TO PILE UP PAPER QUALIFICATIONS UPON PAPER QUALIFICATIONS WITHOUT THE COMMONSENSE PRAGMATISM AND HIGH STANDARDS OF SERVICE DELIVERY THAT GOES WITH ACQUIRING SUCH PHDs, MSCs AND OTHERS.
NO WONDER THE LATE ATTA-MILLS, A PHD HOLDER AND A FORMER UNIVERSITY OF GHANA SENIOR LECTURER FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, STRUGGLED WITH PRONOUNCING THE SIMPLE WORD, "ECONOMICS".
WE SHALL ALL SWIM IN THE QUAGMIRE CREATED BY BAD, CORRUPT, LAZY, VISIONLESS AND "SQUARE-PEGS-IN-ROUND-HOLES" LEADERSHIP, WHILE THE LIKES OF SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, INDIA AND EVEN PAKISTAN CONTINUE TO FORGE AHEAD WITH THEIR NUCLEAR AMBITIONS.
WE ARE PAYING BACK "BIG TIME" FOR YEARS OF THE DESTRUCTIVE PRACTICE OF "SQUARE-PEGS-IN-ROUND-HOLES" POLICY OF STAFF RECRUITMENT AND "PASSING-THE-BUCK" STYLE OF LEADERSHIP, WHICH GETS NOTHING DONE IN THE END OF IT ALL.
GHANA'S LEADERS ARE SIMPLY TOO USELESS IT BEATS THE IMAGINATION.
JUST LOOK THE NEW MINISTER OF FINANCE AND ASK YOURSELVES THIS BEGGING QUESTION.
DOES SUCH AN OLD MINISTER OF FINANCE HAVE 21ST CENTURY, OR EVEN 20TH CENTURY, IDEAS TO FORGE GHANA AHEAD?
I REST MY CASE!!!
