Great point. Ghanaians portray to the rest of the world what they actually are. Ghana is one of the most peaceful countries in the world. Demonstrations and strikes show that problems cannot be resolved peacefully and that does not help image. Try to resolve your own problems internally and not look to the rest of the world to resolve your problems. There are problems everywhere in the world. Ability to solve problems amicably in Ghana will show the world the class of citizens Ghana has. Please stop insulting each other on a forum that is open to the whole world. It just show how immature people are when yhey take a communication medium as a forum to rain insults on one another.

This is pure and simple nonsense. Demonstrations and the freedom to fight for rights is enshrined in the constitutions of every civilized nation. No one will ever see Ghana as an uncivilized nation and neither will it lower the image of Ghana in anyway if people embark on strikes to demand better conditions of service.
It is only in Ghana that people always want to suppress the freedom of speech and legitimate agitations with their "Gyae monka" and "enye whee" attitude. That is why we are not developing fast enough. That is why people steal money from state coffers and we are not able to do anything about it.
Demonstrations are everywhere in the developed world. In the US and Europe especially. I hate people who instead of solving problems for which they paid try to find excuses and shift blame.
