President John Mahama, this should be a lesson to you. You brought this strikes on board when you recklessly paid all that chunk of monies to these lazy parliamentarians. Your decisions smack of incompetence. You did not learn the fortitude of President Rawlings and Attah Mills and you deeped yourself into big trouble. You couldn't have ruled in times of scarcity eg, at a time Ghana had no oil and gas with this attitude. Wake up!! This country is too rough for a 'begger President'

Are you sure this is what the chancellor of a whole University said- is this his expectation of his students? Where do we get this so call professors?

It's a really good thing that our leaders have lend some listening ears to our cries n pleas....... We students at the university for development studies were suppose to start our end of trimester exams on Monday the 15th of March but couldn't due to the unfortunate strike action by our lecturers but thank God for touching the the heart of our dear lecturers, the government, and NLC into coming into a mutual consensus to resolving the problems. Buh as I write, I still can't tell when our exams time table has been reschedule to begin and this actually put we the final year students in a hell of confusion but all the Alhamdulillah!!!

I wish to plead with the Mahama led government to do everything possible to get all other striking workers back to work. Also, every agreement reached with UTAG should be strictly adhered to by all parties.
I also wish to plead with all the players in the labour front to ensure that this never occurs again.

I am disappointed at the chancellor for his comment on the issue. It he insinuating that just because the lecturers are not in the lecture rooms we students will turn into armed robbers? He should come again. Then we will be going for our long vacation, so the lecturers should follow us home. UTAG members, thank you, with no credit to Alhaji Asuma Banda. For contributing to a nation of insults.

If NDC government has enough money to pay gargantuan monies to NDC stealers so easily ,freely and smoothly why not UTAG, Or is it because the money is not going to them? I wonder how this NDC Government expect educational standards to improve when they have blatantly refused to pay Capitation grant for 2012 2nd term and 2013 1st term as well as denying the district directorates funds (GOG) to manage the districts. Shameless Robbers!!
THAT IS GOOD NEWS.
