l?ll provide free lunch and training for all teachers ? Aspiring MP

THE NEW PATRIOTIC Party (NPP) candidate for Builsa South constituency in the Upper East Region, Mr. Theodore Ayaric, has predicted a landslide victory for the Kufuor administration come the 2004 elections.

He also gave the assurance that he will give free lunch and training for teachers within his district as well as provide furniture to deprived schools to enhance the standard of education in the area if elected into Parliament.

Speaking in an interview with this paper last week, the aspiring MP, who is also a member of the Regional Co-ordinating Council at Bolgatanga said that the most seats in the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions in 1992, 1996 and 2000 were won by the NDC as a result of the NPP boycott of the parliamentary elections. But now that the NPP is ready to contest in the parliamentary elections, there is no doubt that the NPP will win, taking into account the positive change the government has brought into the lives of the people.

According to him, the NDC is no match for the NPP given the good work the NPP has carried out in three years as against the 20 years of the PNDC and NDC.

The 43-year-old accountant said in his reign as the MP for the area, he is going to make education, which has dwindled in the area a priority.
