Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah shared a moment with legendary footballer Lionel Messi after the Major League Soccer game between Columbus Crew and Inter Miami.

Yeboah, who first met Messi in 2014, recreated the famous photo of himself and the Argentina captain when he was starting his career as a youngster at Manchester City ten years ago.

Messi and his Argentina teammates were preparing for the World Cup when Yeboah met his idol.

A decade later, both players are enjoying their careers in Major League Soccer in the United States.

Yeboah posted on Instagram after his meeting with Messi: "Full circle moment, grateful for my journey. The best is yet to come."

Messi led his team to victory against the MLS champions after netting a brace in the 3-2 victory at the Lower.com Stadium.

Meanwhile, Yeboah watched from the bench as the Barcelona legend and his teammates lifted the Eastern Conference title following their victory over Crew.

Both teams have qualified for the 2024 MLS play-offs, with Crew set to finish in second place in the Eastern Conference.

Having scored the winner in the 2023 final, Yeboah will be hoping to help the Ohio-based club successfully defend their title.

Yeboah won the Leagues Cup this season to add to the MLS Championship title.
