'Nowadays I laugh when I watch Hearts of Oak matches - Charles Allotey

Charles Allotey, a former player for Hearts of Oak, has criticized the club's current players, accusing them of lacking seriousness.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Allotey labeled the Phobians' recent performances as "trash."

He shared that he now finds himself laughing when watching Hearts of Oak's matches.

"The players are not serious at all. Even a player like Linda, who is performing well, struggles to find his attackers in the final third and Salifu has been playing poorly of late.

"They act as if there's nothing at stake. It's repulsive to watch them play. Hearts of Oak has become like trash because the players do not meet the club's standards. When I watch them play, I laugh," Charles Allotey remarked.

In his opinion, the players are responsible for Hearts of Oak's current challenges, not the coach.

"The primary issues at Hearts lie with the players, not the coach. They don't play with the same intensity that we used to muster, which is necessary to compete for the badge," Charles Allotey lamented.
